Mealybugs: a succulent’s arch enemy

Mealybugs. Ew. Even that word sounds gross. Succulents can easily get these persistent pests. Although it’s mostly mentioned that they’re for indoor succulents, I have some outdoor succulents that have quite an annoying infestation at the moment. I’m hoping to share some remedies with you that I’ve tried… if there is anything else you know…

Overwatering your succulent

If you’ve noticed some weird, squishy, yellowish leaves on your plant, or mushy black spots on it, there’s a good chance that your succulent is being overwatered.

Underwatering your succulent

If your plant looks brownish overall and it has dry, wilted leaves, you might be underwatering it.
